Exhibitor History

Dawn Watson
Hastings on Hudson, NY USA
How does one find moments of quiet within the chaos? What is obscured or revealed when we shift our perspective, our vantage point, turn the prism of point of view? In my creative work, I find an avenue to explore and express this question of perception. Capturing or creating moments of tension, connection or contemplation, my work is a visual tone poem engaging image, texture, words, form and/or movement to explore our shared psychological and sensory topography, how we inhabit both our interior and exterior worlds. An avid traveler, concerns about the effect of ecological degradation on our health and way of life influence my work in tangible but subtle ways as I endeavor to make sense of the "both/and" that is contemporary life, the beauty and chaos inherent in each moment.

Upcoming Exhibits

After 99 Exhibitions we're taking a break.

Over the next month or two we are planning to do some work on our web site and better organize and advertise our inventory of fabulous prints we have been collecting. We also want to host a few more workshops and photographer community events.

Once we regroup, for our 100th exhibit, we are planning to host our 4th Champlain Valley Photo Slam Probably in November/December.

We really appreciate all the support we have received over the last seven years and queries from eager photographers about future exhibitions.

Stay tuned!
