Exhibitor History

Chelle Caldwell
Woodinville, WA USA
I am drawn back to film photography in this fast paced digital era we live in simply for its beautiful complexities. Film is where it began without knowing the results until it is developed and fixed. I am in love with textures, the imperfections and the perfections, and experimenting without re-inventing the wheel. Showcasing people and faces today with the light shining on their soul and telling their story in a single portrait or series of portraits brings back the nostalgia of the 19th century photographers to which I have great respect and appreciation. I look to the past for inspiration from Julia Margaret Cameron I look to the present for inspiration from Nicole Caldwell (no relation) and Catherine Just I like the idea of being in the company of strong women who are astounding artists.

Upcoming Exhibits

After 99 Exhibitions we're taking a break.

Over the next month or two we are planning to do some work on our web site and better organize and advertise our inventory of fabulous prints we have been collecting. We also want to host a few more workshops and photographer community events.

Once we regroup, for our 100th exhibit, we are planning to host our 4th Champlain Valley Photo Slam Probably in November/December.

We really appreciate all the support we have received over the last seven years and queries from eager photographers about future exhibitions.

Stay tuned!
