I am drawn in by the way the camera can freeze a moment in time and transform it through framing, composition and choice of context. The ordinary holds the potential to be rendered extraordinary. I relish the act of seeking the next shot, anticipating the reward that may be just around the corner - or not. Maybe it taps into the primeval hunting urge that sustained our ancestors. Whatever it is, the search and the process is challenging, stimulating and endlessly absorbing.
