Exhibitor History

I have been for some time very interested in water, reflections and the uniqueness of the photographic craft vis a vis its ability to freeze time. I work very often in a manipulative manner on my images (I don't consider myself a documentarian) and have a penchant for the pictoralist approach (creating emotion in the viewer in any manner which achieves that end) as such I will make multiple exposures, invert my images (from positive to negative), print to very fine tissue-like papers and will at the end use encaustics on my prints to render mystery and thus feeling to my work. The encaustics also allow a sense of myself to remain with the image.
