Past Darkroom Gallery Master History

Mary Ciullo
Glen Head, NY USA
MARY CIULLO is a fine art photographer based on L. I. and educated at I.C.P. in New York. Inspired to capture her subject's fleeting moments to reveal the presence of their spirit, soul, or personal stream of consciousness, through her unique eye her images possess an energy that beckons the viewer to feel their emotive qualities. Recently exhibited at Los Angeles' 1650 Gallery, Ft. Collins' C4FAP Gallery, Middlebury's PhotoPlace Gallery and Essex Junction's Darkroom Gallery, she was awarded Darkroom’s Master designation in 2016 as her work "is consistently excellent photographic work that jurors repeatedly select due to content, concept, mastery of formal photographic elements and creative approach." "Mary shows a deep passion and a human connection in all of her photography, something often lacking in a photographic art-world over-run by trends, concepts and glitziness," says David H. Wells, publication photographer. See more of her work at
